About Our Sunday School
Our Sunday school uses lessons from Concordia.  Both Law and Gospel are explained within each lesson and both point to Jesus Christ as our Savior.  The lessons from Concordia do a great job of teaching Biblical truth within each story.

The irregular verb LEARNS by definition is:  TO ACQUIRE KNOWLEDGE .  It is important for students to learn the truth-filled stores found with the Bible.

In Acts 8:26-40; the Holy Spirit is leading Philip to an Ethiopian eunuch who was reading the Old Testament Isaiah but did not understand what he was reading.  This is where Sunday school looks to explain the - who, what, where, when, why, and how of the stories contained within the Scripture.  The Bible is all about Jesus and there is so much more to the story of Salvation than "because Jesus loves us".  It is our hope that the students learn - acquire knowledge - of the truth found within the scriptures.  As this knowledge of Jesus Christ is developed we pray, it will better prepare them to meet the challenges they face with a certainty not found anywhere else.
